Everyone loves lists. The internet is full of ‘em. So, Philadelphia area merchants, here are five reasons why TheWeekendTreasure is a win for you:

It’s Low Risk - We only ask you to give away one product, not some massive ceiling-less discount.
You Have Input on the “Second Place” Discount - Since you’re only giving away one treasure, we work together to set the exclusive “second place” coupon that appears at the bottom of every WeekendTreasure email. (This is for everyone else that doesn’t win the treasure.) Naturally, the more enticing you make it, the higher the likelihood of our subscribers redeeming, but the point is this: it’s your call. Again, it’s all about mitigating risk.
It’s Super Local - Since we’re debuting here in Philadelphia first, our subscribers are… wait for it… right here in Philadelphia!
It’s Fun - This is certainly a more qualitative metric, but TheWeekendTreasure is designed to be fun for all: merchant and subscriber. Hey Philadelphians: Win a Free Lunch This Friday (April 6, 2012)

We tried encouraging signups and shares via Twitter by promising a free lunch. The idea was that whoever referred the most new signups to TheWeekendTreasure would win lunch on us. We’d actually deliver it to your door, office, wherever - so long as you’re located in Philadelphia.

Now, rather than winging it, we’re going to actually get organized. So here’s the deal:

Whoever refers the most new signups to TheWeekendTreasure by 10:00 AM ET on Friday, April 6 will win a free lunch that day. You can pick: Wawa, Primos, Pats, Jims, whatever. And we’ll deliver it to you.

And in case a reminder on how to signup and share is needed…

If you haven’t already, signup at http://signup.theweekendtreasure.com/ (it’s free and super-easy!)
Once signed up, you’ll be presented with sharing options: email, Twitter, Facebook, link. Use any or all to get your Philly friends on board, and our system will show us who was the most effective in referring new signups. (If you’ve already signed up, just dig up the confirmation email you got. It has a unique URL that, when shared, allows us to keep score.)
Figure out what you want for lunch on Friday. (Clearly, the hardest part.)
